Travels to Boston

Last week I left my twins, my husband, and my home for what was supposed to be five days to visit the beautiful City of Boston. Although the weather was wicked wet (for those who have not been to Boston it is apparently correct for Bostonians to use "wicked" as the adjective for anything and everything), since I do not recall my previous travel to Boston, I decided not to let that stop me. Read on for the tales of my travel.

Drive Bys

Why is it that when someone in a car honks and waves, people stop to see who it is? Oh, I guess it could be Obama?

I work in a fairly large metropolis and on my way back from the gym this evening a cab honked it's horn several times and a person riding in the back stuck out his arm (pretty sure by the size and the hair it was a man) waving like a maniac. I'm thinking, like anyone is going to look long enough to figure out of the incessant noise and obnoxious wave is aimed at someine in particular, why don't you just have the cabbie stop and jump out for a second, or better yet whip out your cell phone, after all you are not driving! Well, to my utter amazement several people stopped to see who it was that was waving and honking.

What's up with that?

Hello

I have started this blog to portray the life of a mom of twins who works outside the home. I intend to share with you the rantings, ravings, and observations of my daily life, so no focus on any real area of interest, just general occurrences during my commute, activities, and interactions (or non interactions) with different people during my day. I hope you enjoy a look at life through my eyes.
